Mother's Day 2018 - Tripp's Asleep; Things Are Normal

This was one of the most awesome Mother's Days I have experienced since the passing of my mother. The ones when she was here on earth with us were the best. I woke up and started working on my blog then I went to the deck to clean it up.

I wanted to relax on the deck, think and write. The kids had a different idea. I was instructed to wear yellow - my favorite color and the entire family in my honor followed suit.

The day started off like a scavenger hunt of sorts with the kids giving me boxes filled with clues. Clue #1 took us to the cemetery to see mama and to put flowers on her grave, Clue #2 had me flying high and Clue #3 took me to my favorite park for rest on a beautiful yellow blanket with treats in yellow packaging and containers.
